I feel honored and thankful that I was give a chance to explore my capabilities as well as hone my inner thoughts, skills, and ideas on dealing situations pertaining to health and safety. I came to find out that despite the gap between my bachelors degree on the position I have; I managed to handle it as best as I can. Thought I could not really say that I’ve done a perfect job but at least I could say that I did my best and show the skills and competencies I have. I can manage it as far as anyone can do.

There are several things in me that changed. A change that I adopt gradually and simply apply it on my daily routine. Time is really amazing! It allows me to explore and learn things that I don’t know. It teaches me to dwell situations that are useful as I walk through the edge of life.

As of now, handling this position is quite challenging though the fact shows that there are several people around me tries to full me down as they want to overlap my achievements still I never give up. I know, I won’t be stay this job for a long time but because I savor all the days I have here and enjoy every single seconds I spent with my colleagues. In fact, I received an invitations from my Boss that this coming June 2010 there will be a 6th HSE Board Meeting together with the respective division managers. Glad to know that I’ll be there but somehow honestly I bet worries due to some extent reasons. But I know I can handle the pressure just need to ready all the resources I need for the meeting.

Time travel so fast! June is yet to come… So, wish me luck everyone!

I’m about to take my annual leave already this coming Sunday. If you guys still remember my previous post that I was telling you that I won’t be able to go home due to financial problem. So, I decided to take a local leave here in Abu Dhabi and was about to spend it with friends by roaming around place. I am actually planning to have a great adventure at Dubai, Sharjah, and other neighboring cities of Abu Dhabi instead of staying here in my room. Aside from that, I can can npw concentrate on some of my blogs that needs to be updated.

In fact, tomorrow was my last working day and still need to fixed thing up before I leave. I was even asked by my Boss to hand-over all my to my colleagues who was handling my current position before. Honestly, I really had a doubts to hand over it to her again ’cause one of the reason why the position was given to me is that she’s not doing her job. She never even coordinate with our Managers regarding to their reports. She just take her own perception on specific reports which is way out of line. As she really needs to coordinate with our PM’s to get the accurate data figures that will be submitted to our HSEQ Department.

Oh! Well, what will I do, I need to take my leave and take relax for a while. I just do hope that when I come back next month everything will gonna be fine. Wish me luck everyone on my annual vacation. Oh! I almost forgot! You guys might be interested to this diet pill reviews? I been reading this for a couple of days already as I am planning to loss some weights while I was on leave ’cause tummy is getting bigger and bigger. Well, hopefully it works! Check it out!

Staying here in Abu Dhabi for almost a year now is quite boring if you don’t have friends or specifically relatives who will cheer you up in times of lonesome days. You can’t avoid the fact that you’ll definitely think about your family back home specially if your a married person or even your friends too. I myself accept the fact that sometimes I do think of going home ’cause I miss them that much. I reach the point that I wanted to go home already. But when I think about my future ahead it reminds me that I should not. You know why? ‘Cause if I will go home what life will I have there? Still the the same thing especially, I came from a middle class family were some time we have sometimes we don’t have. I don’t want to experience the life I been before. I want to give a better and prosperous future for my family. Because of that instead of thinking so much about them I spend more time with my friends here while doing some stuff like planet eclipse game, going to the beach, spending quality time with relatives, shopping, roaming around the neighboring cities and some more else which has a lot of fun and excitement.

That was the common outlets I used to do just to aid the boredome I feel back home. As this present time, I thank God for giving me a precious friends I have found in this place. They are all amazing! When times that I don’t have left in my pocket they lend me some. When times that I need their moral support they were there. When times that I need a friend to lean on they were also there. When times I have nothing, they never left me behind they even carry me. For a quite some time now staying in this desert place of the world, I could really say that I’m now a fuly grown person. I might don’t know several things yet but I know I’m going there. Thank you to all the person who was with me and sharing a spare part of your life despite the very busy time you had. No word could ever tell how much I treasure you all. You are all simply fantastic. More graces for us all in the coming days, months and years!

Just recently this week I moved out already from our company’s accommodation. As I changed the status of my work and position I need to change my accommodation too. As per the company rule, annual employees should received their accommodation allowance instead of food allowance. Actually, as I received my new position at work everything has changed too. My accommodation, my job task and some several things pertaining to the said job. It was definitely interesting and quite challenging but personally I’m not satisfied on the compensation for the said position. I don’t want to demand as of now maybe a couple of months from now I guess I have too. As the job is not easy and it requires a lot of my time, knowledge and patience.

As I owe the said position, I also have the choice to moved out from the company accommodation. In fact, as of now and as I write this post I’m already here in my new accommodation where I have a new friends too. They were all marvelous and pretty amazing ’cause they welcome me into this place. Though I have several adjustments but I know I can handle it as they were all nice to me specially my room mates who are so nice and kind hearted. Thank you guys for accepting me here!

Anyway, my life here in abroad is pretty fast! I never thought that its been almost a year that I been working here! Wohh… Thanks to those people who in one way helps me a lot to surpassed all the trials I been through in this place specially my Aunt and relatives here, friends whom I never thought I they were generous and kind, work mates who are patient in teaching me even though they keep on hearing an alarms for break time still they were kind to teach me everything that I need to know at work. Thanks all guys!

I was here in Abu Dhabi for almost 8 months now. Through that time I never encounter such prone accidents that I might possibly meet along the road. Thanks God of course! You know why? ‘Cause Abu Dhabi is one of the equipped place in the Middle East region where embarked road Exit Signs is pretty observable. Yes! You hear it right! Wherever you go through out Abu Dhabi or even the neighboring place Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and the other emirates road exit sign is obviously posted. Reason why, minimal accidents are on records. Their government here is much particular on the safety of their residents. Even if nowadays Abu Dhabi has an ongoing construction road modifications still there were only few accidents that are being reported due to the fact that they provide all the necessary precaution reminders for every people specifically the road barriers has a luminous exit sign posters so that every drivers will know that construction is still going on.

Likewise, as concern foreign resident in this place I myself is really following what they want. ‘Cause of course, I still plan to enjoy my stay here for a quite sometime!

Be as it may, I therefore realized that Exit Sign posters is indeed one of the most important safety material that must be provided by the government for people safety at large. But of course, as concern citizens who still want to see the beauty of tomorrow we need to follow the rules that being imposed by the government to us though its too bad to think that even if how faithful we are on following the rules still there were several idiot people who did not follow on it. Remember, safety lies within us!

Life here in Abu Dhabi is quite so fast! I never imagine that I was here already for 7 months. It was still very fresh in my mind the first time I step the Abu Dhabi airport with my Filipino colleague Argie. We were both anxious what will we do if there’s nobody will fitch us there. Were exchanging ideas what to do ’cause even if we will took a taxi we still don’t know where to go and thanks God ’cause right before we reach the edge of the passengers way somebody approached and asked us if we were the two guys who came from Philippines. Right after he asked us, I replied him, “yes”. After that conversation he guide us through his used car that was parked in the parking area.

At first, my impression to the place is good but I was half shocked on their weather ’cause the wind is so hot and I really feel hot and that was around 1 am in the morning when we exactly took off from the airport down to the city. I asked the guy who fitch us why is it that its so hot? He just replied me casually that its summer here. I was surprised ’cause I never though that summer here is so much hotter than my beloved country Philippines. Well, I won’t compromise ’cause its obvious that this is a desert place.

One thing too that I observed as we travel going down to the city, I’ve seen several used cars that was parked in several parking areas. I was really amazed ’cause it was my first time to see batches of cars, several car colors, models, and luxury one. Then, I realized that this place is abundant of resources where every citizens can benefit from it. In fact, right after the working hours, my Aunt called me up to meet her at the office and go with her to their house where I was able to see their second hand car they both a couple of years ago.

Nevertheless, after 7 months of working here in Abu Dhabi I came to find out that life is pretty much different to the life I used to live back home. And work compensation here is quite so far from my country may be because their economy is higher than Philippines. Well, I guess every places has its differences!

Its pretty cold and the weather was great! Well, what we have today at work is still a continuation of our wireline training program. Same boring thing! But of course I am thankful ’cause I got this opportunity to undergo for a training. I just hope that right after this training I can learn something new and interesting. Something that will arm me in my future plans.

Anyway, as we have our toolbox meeting today with our base manager he was asking each of us if we still have a training today. We all said yes! He was moving his head right to left ’cause he all wants us to be at the work shop and do same thing. What was that thing? Well, its cleaning in every corner of the workshop area and messy equipments. Its actually a tiring and pissing job but somehow I found myself enjoying though there are times that I’m bored and feeling want to stop. Sort decisions come in but in the end still I’m here. Poor me!

Okay! Enough for silly things. A couple of hours from now will be starting our training lessons again. So, before I end this post let me recommend you this wood flooring that I’ve found last night. This might be the one you need at home. Be safe veryone!

The man you used to here is my fellow worker Radhwan. He is also an Assistant Wireline Operator like I do. Some of the tools you used to see on his background are the tools that we need to familiarized before will be sent to the field.
