Bukidnon is a landlocked province of the Philippines located in the Northern Mindanao region. Its capital is Malaybalay City. The province borders, clockwise starting from the north, Misamis Oriental, Agusan del Sur, Davao del Norte, Cotabato, Lanao del Sur, and Lanao del Norte.

Bukidnon is considered by Filipinos to be the food basket of Mindanao. It is the major producer of rice and corn in the region. Plantations in the province also produce pineapples, bananas and sugarcane.

There are no seaports in the province, although there is an airport in Malaybalay City. The airport is currently closed. To get to Bukidnon, one must travel by land from Cagayan de Oro City in Misamis Oriental Province.

Two types of climate prevail between the northern and southern sections of Bukidnon, The northern part is classified as belonging to Type III, that is, there is no pronounced rain period but relatively dry during the months of November to May. In the southern portion of the province, the climate is classified as Type IV with no dry season. The driest area is Baungon, while the wettest is the Calabugao plain. The climate is relatively cool and humid throughout the year.

The average annual rainfall is 2, 800 millimeters (112.5 inches). Just like in other parts of the country, rainfall is more pronounced from June to October compared to other months of the year. February to April are the drier months.

Temperature ranges vary with elevation. In areas lower than 500 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l.), the recorded temperature range is between 20°C to 34°C. Areas with elevations greater than 500 m.a.s.l. would have temperatures ranging from 18°C to 28°C.

Relative humidity also varies with elevation, with those above 500 meters having relative humidity of about 80%, while areas lying below 500 meters, 65-7 percent. Thus, the Malaybalay-Impasug-ong area and those around the volcanic cones approximate semi-temperate conditions and can support the cultivation of highland tropical crops.

Based on the records of climatological stations within and near the province, lithology and land form, three (3) agro-ecological zones are identified. One covers the mountainous eastern side (Central Cordillera) which is generally wet, with rainfall of about 2, 340 mm to 4, 000 mm per annum. Another covers the high altitude volcanic plains, the Malaybalay-Impasug-ong area and the footslopes of Mt. Kitanglad and Mt. Kalatungan. These areas have an annual rainfall in the range of 2, 490 mm to 3, 680 mm. The third zone covers the south-central and the north-western parts of the province, with elevations of less than 500 meters, relatively dry with mean annual rainfall in the range of 1, 700 mm to 2, 600 mm.

How to Get There

There are no direct fllights to Bukidnon from Manila. Philippine airlines has 3 daily flights from Manila to Cagayan de Oro City and one daily flight from Cebu.

Bukidnon is 2 hours away by land from Cagayan de Oro City and 12 hours by sea from Cebu. Local Bus companies in Cagayan de Oro, such as the Bachelor Express, Tomawis, and many others, service this route.

The Taoist Temple sits at the very heart of one of Cebu’s high-end subdivisions, Beverly Hills. The Taoist Temple is presently one of the major tourist destinations in Cebu City. As a matter of fact, a Cebu Tour is not complete without a quick visit to the taoist temple. But keep in mind that the Taoist Temple is set to have a 100th steps before you’ll reach the top. So if you want a taste of Cebu’s Chinese culture, visit the Taoist Temple in Beverly Hills, Lahug. Other than that, there were great things to enjoy at Cebu City, Philippines.

I was supposed to share this adventure I had last month since this was actually happening right before Christmas. But because due to my hectic schedule at work I was not able to do it. Well, anyway this might be the right time to share this with you guys. We just been to some place of Dubai where all the United Nations are there selling their countries specialty. I forgot the exact name of the place! To mention the few countries that was there are Egpyt, China, Europe, Thailand, and of course my beloved country Philippines. But as I visit the booth of the Philippines I was worried about it ’cause I’ve only seen few Filipinos whose selling Philippine prides. Most of the traders who was there to sell are Chinese people and I guess, that’s not new anymore ’cause Chinese are known to be one of the business people. I just do hope that in timely manner the Philippine booth will be filled with Filipino traders. Here is one of the photo I had with the place.

I have this photo somewhere in the place. As you can see, there’s a pool. It was not actually a pool. It was something like an artificial river where you can ride a boat ( the boat has a fare ). They will tour you around the place. Its quite interesting and adventurous actually. Other than this place, there were several highlights where you’ll really be amazed with it. I actually do enjoy the said adventure. I’ll be back here again soon.

So, if you plan to visit Dubai don’t miss out to visit this place. I’m sure you’ll really had a great and amazing time! Okay! That’s it for now ’cause I still have to check this weight loss pills for my Mom as she needs it ’cause she’s getting bigger nowadays and as per advice by our family doctor she must maintain her weight. Well, have to check it now! Have a great adventure everyone!

Among the nature’s jewels which enchantingly lure tourists and local folks includes unexplored mountains and caves which are inhabited by exotic wildlife, pristine shores rimmed by unspoiled coral reefs, cloud-hidden lakes of blue surrounded by multi-colored flowers and beautiful beaches and waterfalls nestled beside a mountain. Here are some of Samar’s beautiful spots.

The park is situated at Rawis, Brgy. Guirang, Basey, Samar covering an approximate area of 840 hectares. Fascinating geological features abound in the area of the national park such as caves, hugs, limestone boulders, rockholes, weathered formation rocks and underground rivers.

The most prominent assemblage in the park is the cathedral-like caves, which are the Panhulugan I, and II, Sohoton and Bugosan. All the caves in the park are endogen caves in angular limestone cliff, which support the base of other crack system. It abounds with flowstones and dripstones. Two and a half (2½) hours motorboat ride from Tacloban City and two (2) hours ride from Basey proper can reach these tourist spots in Basey.

Just last weekend, me and my relatives here in Abu Dhabi are strolling around to find some great gifts to buy for this coming Christmas. I was also actually searching for a Christmas party attire for our upcoming celebration this Saturday. It was actually a celebration for AlMansoori’s Anniversary. As we roam around Abu Dhabi, I never expect that I could find this cool Christmas decoration in one of the known mall here ’cause as far as I knew, Arab countries did not celebrate Christmas. But I was really surprised when I used to witnessed it there. Here are some photo here…

This was one of the Christmas views I catch it here in Abu Dhabi. Particualry, this was taken inside the Abu Dhabi Mall. I got several photos to share with you guys but I just have to go now ’cause I still have to check this Fenphedra that I happened to browse earlier this day. This might answer the needs I’m craving for! Have a great week everyone and advance Merry Christmas!…c”,)

Yikes! Just last weekend we been to Dubai again with my relatives here in Abu Dhabi. Actually, it was not in the plan to be there ’cause on the following day we still have a work and traveling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is quite tiring too. But my Aunt fixed it up that we should have to be there. They were actually about to be at Dubai just to buy things they need for their vacation in London. (They were in London right now!) A night before we been to Dubai again I was already stress ’cause I been to bed around 2 am due to a some task that I need to finished. On the day we are about to live my Aunt called me up around 7 am in my flat asking where I am? Too bad ’cause when she used to call me I was still in the bed sleeping! When my phone rang and answered it I told her not be go with them in Dubai as I am still sleepy. But she insisted to be with them. Don’t have a choice but to accept the invitation to go with them. So, I take a bath as fast as I could and take my clothes on and never eat my breakfast anymore as we are about to live by 8 am. Good thing is when I used to arrived in their flat they were still changing their clothes so still have to time to eat my breakfast at their flat..:)

8: 10 am sharp we live already Abu Dhabi bound to Dubai. It takes us 1 and half hour before we arrived on our destination. We first been to Dragon Mart. Dragon Mart is actually an establishments of wholesale tradings. Most of the sellers are Chinese people. The place is big and there were so many people who also been there searching for something to buy. The good thing in this place is you can buy a cheaper things that you want. But all of those might possibly made in China.

Around 2:30 pm we live Dragon Mart bound to The Dubai Mall. One of the newest and biggest mall in Dubai where the biggest aquarium resides. The Dubai Mall is one of the best malls I’ve been here in UAE. First time in my entire life I’ve seen a big aquarium equipped with different types of fishes. The aquarium is really amazing! Never got a chance to see an aquarium like this before even though Philippines has also got like this. The Mall is not yet fully finished ’cause there were several establishments who did not open yet. There were also several establishments who give a promotional products for free as they were just opening. Maybe a month from now all of the establishment might be open already.

I really got a great time in Dubai even just for a 1 day trip! Be back to their again soon! Watch out for more adventures I’ll gonna post it here. Have a great day everyone!

Kabayan Beach Resort is a pioneer in many ways. They were the very first resort built along the white sand beach of Laiya, San Juan Batangas. When others followed and built fan cottages as well, Kabayan upgraded their cottages and built air-conditioned ones. Soon after, others followed suit. Still, Kabayan managed to come up with services and amenities that are uniquely theirs —a few of which are: KTV rooms, a television set with cable service at the pavilion and in all of the cottages, a chapel with anticipated mass every Saturday, dormitories and a multi-purpose hall for seminars, a beach side bar, and a swimming pool for adults and children. Needless to say, Kabayan Beach Resort constantly strives to establish better standards of products and service—all for the continued satisfaction of their guests.

Kabayan Beach Resort takes pride in the amenities/ activities they have made available for guests’ pleasure and enjoyment. One will always find an activity suited to one’s personal style— whether slow and quiet, or action-packed—because Kabayan caters to the varied interests of its guests.

One of the place I’ve been in Dubai last month was the Mercato Mall. The building was built into a quite old age structure. But its pretty great! I love the place. One good thing about the place was there were several Filipino I’ve seen who was working there as cashiers, managers, and some other positions. Aside from that, we used to eat in the food court were the foods was great too! I thought that I won’t certainly love the food ’cause most of the sellers are Arabs but I was wrong! There’s also a Chinese food were I did certainly ate it! Its delicious! Here is one of the photo I have with my Aunt.

So , what can you say about the place? This was one of the best mall I’ve been in Dubai last month during our short vacation with my relatives. Love to be back on this place again soon. Hopefully if God permits soon. Have a great day everyone!…c”,)
