In other words, it’s refreshingly foreign, health – conscious, not self-conscious, upscale yet downplayed.

Jones the Grocer isn’t just an eatery tucked away in the dusty, developing Al Mamoura area – it’s a haven for foodies with fine taste. Here you’ll find a charcuterie and a fromagerie stocking fine cheeses from Spain, France and Australia, among other luxuries for the not so money conscious customer. The store is impressively self-sufficient, with most of what’s on offer on and off the shelves coming from its own kitchens – from porcini mushroom and truffle cream to honeycomb ice cream and sparkling non-alcoholic cabernet.

We quite enjoyed the tuna cake with fried egg (although we’re glad the egg was runny because the cake needed moistening) and the Jones omelette was good – a ‘real’ omelette (such a rarity these days) stuffed with veal bacon, Spanish onion, red capsicum, tomato and cheddar cheese, and served with sourdough toast.

Thanks to the less than generous portions, we were far from ready for the cheque; so we ordered toasted muesli to share with our English Breakfast teas, and that alone was bigger than the main meals. Not that we’re slurping soda at breakfast time, but we did notice that fissy drinks didn’t make the cut at this joint, probably because their fresh juices are so remarkable – the whole fruit and nothing but the fruit!

We left, not only with a couple pricey pleasures from the racks, but also feeling healthy and happy. For more information about Joneses click here. For you to have an access about them is you happened to visit UAE soon.

It’s on a mission to introduce to Abu Dhabi the concept of dining an dpartying at one veneu. The space is painstakingly sophisticated and stylish in design; inside seems to be all set for the partying end of the evening, so we decided to sit on the veranda – the light, although less flaterring out there, works better should we want to see what we’re eating.

Unfortunately, the light also reveals that the outdoor furnitures is already a bit worse for wear. But still we’re eased into them by the funky lunge music and staff off with the Sea Soup, a warm cuppa brimming with seafood, veggie and an array of tongue – ticking spices that has us sniffing with satisfaction.

Next we go with the charbroiled beef steakburger with “rushdie potato”(fries), sauteed baby tomatoes and onions in baisamic, and duck breast. The burger is more than a handful but pretty standard, its fries leaving more of a lasting impression. The duck served with fruit chutney and balsamic orange sauce was tender with a unique tangy and sour taste.

At bursting point now, we are coaxed by a whispering waiter to fry Eight’s signature pain perdu, a French pudding served with vanilla ice cream. And we thank him. Anything drenched in this dessert we’d eat no questions asked. It’s the perfect climax to a gastronomically superb evening.

Eight ticks all the right boxes with both its drink and food menus, not to mention a Fondue night is in the works, among many other attractions, so we’ll keep our ears to the ground for what’s to come.

This were some of the best foods you can hunt here in Abu Dhabi if you wish to visit this place and have fun. Okay! That’s it for now ’cause I still have to look a truck accessories for my Dad’s car. He was asking me to help him find the accessories he need for his truck that really needs to be repaired. Hope you guys will enjoy this article I did.

1 duck, about 500g

2 tbs liquid honey

1 lemon

3og butter, melted

150ml stock (game, poultry or vegetable

METHOD:

Set the oven at 200 C. Squeeze the lemon juice into a mixing bowl and then stir in the honey. Add a pinch of sea salt and a generous grinding of black pepper. Put the duck in a roasting tray and pour over the honey and lemon mixture, and the stock.

Brush the butter on to the duck and roast for about 10 minutes. Baste with the pan juices. Lower the heat to 180 degree Celsius and continue roasting for 30 – 35 minutes until the bird is golden. Its flesh will still be slightly pink.

Remove the duck from the roasting tin; pour the juices from inside the bird into the tin before putin the duck somewhere warm to rest.

Place the roasting tin with juices over a moderate heat. Bring to the boil and reduce over a high heat for three to four minutes.

Season lightly with salt and black pepper then pour over the duck and serve.

May this recipe serves you a great meal on the following day or another. Okay! Got to go for now ’cause I still have to check this alli reviews that I’ve found earlier this day as I look over net for some cool things. This might be the best recommendation I can have for my friend. Enjoy!

With winter creeping in and cold weather is approaching again, it is expected that the cases of cold and flu be on the rise. Once the virus hits, there is little we can do to chase it out of our bodies. However, natural prevention is possible to a certain extent. The tips below help preventing the cold and also in relieving the symptoms if they set in.

VITAMIN C - is important to help our body fight against cold and flu viruses. There is plentiful supply of vitamin C in kiwis, citrus fruits and their juices, tomatoes, broccoli, and bell peppers.

CHICKEN SOUP – Besides being warm, hearty and delicious, (fresh) chicken soup really does make you feel better by unblocking stiffed airways, hence it is nicknamed “nature’s penicillin”. Make sure that your kitchen sink is clean right after cleaning the chicken so that microbes won’t harm others too.

YOGURT – Yogurt harbors friendly bacteria that are of value to both our digestive and immune systems. Some researches think the beneficial bacteria in yogurt actually stimulate the production of disease fighting agents of the immune system. A daily cup of plain, natural yogurt is recommended.

DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS, Especially WATER – Water rehydrate you and flushes toxins out of your system, thereby helping your body clean away disease-causing microbes. A healthy adult typically needs about 1.5 litres of water a day. Fresh fruit juices and herbal teas are also of benefit. Note: caffeinated drinks like tea and coffee actually make your body loose more water.

MANAGE STRESS – Generally, stress weakens the body’s immune system, making us more susceptible to viruses and bacteria. By managing stress and keeping your cool, you are doing your body a favor!

GET ENOUGH SLEEP – Good sleep, like adequate rest, can boost the immune system and help the body fight diseases better.

NOTE: Other simple things to do include washing your hands frequently, covering your sneezes and cough with something other than your hands (e.g. a tissue or napkin), and getting a form of aerobic exercise each day (a walk out in the fresh air is recommended).

The tableware at ETOILES includes a funky cruet set – very small, heavyweight silver, lovely to pick up and use. You probably won’t need them, though. The seasoning of the food will be impeccable. The chef is Dean Bouvet; has arrive in Abu Dhabi 18 months ago from his Florida vacations and has built a good local quality ingredients and techniques to apparently modest dishes. That’s not to say that his food looks unsophisticated – the plates are a delight to the eye as well as the palate – and his combination’s are inspired.

The roasted chicken terrine, for instance, was impeccably cooked and presented; but it was the puddle of mountable (pure’e of roasted aubergine and tahini) that really lifted the starter. Scallops with langoustines was a simpler dish, but one that requires pinpoint accuracy in the cooking – and doing the scallops on one side only guarantees an interesting contrast of textures.

Much the same applied to the main course of salmon steak (cooked exactly, with crisp skin and a pearly pink centre) served with a delicate crab veloute on squid linguine. Now, adding squid ink to pasta often does nothing for the flavor: not this time, it was subtle and a good background to the fish.

If you guys want a real treat, ask for the joule de boeuf with horseadish mash, Joule de boeuf is beef cheek, and Dean Bouvet cooks it slowly for many, many hours while managing to lose none of the flavour. Good ingredients, treated well and sprinkled with imagination: now that’s good cooking.

You guys might be wondering on the heading or title of my post. Well, without any further a do, I actually love kitchen work specifically cooking! I was actually raised by my parents equipped with such knowledge that I need to know in the cooking field. Though I admit that I am not a good cook but at least I admit too that I can cook! Basically, all I know about cooking is just the basic Philippine dishes that my Mom and Granny used to cooked at home. If I try to look back in my teenage years, I still remember when my Mom was cooking something in the kitchen, I use to watch her and ask several questions what did she do and I was so thankful ’cause my Mom is pretty amazing! She taught me everything that can help me.

Just like with my Granny too! I actually learned how to cooked native foods from her. Like “rice cake, suman, Biko, nilatikang saging ( Philippines Terms ), and some more… My Mom and Granny is one of the most wonderful persons I know in my entire life. ‘Cause they raised me up a wholesome person. I owe everything from them what I have right now! Though I don’t have everything but st least I have them. Here is one of the photo I cooked!

As of this present time, due to my hectic schedule at work and working here in abroad I barely find sometime to cook ’cause my work requires a lot of my time and I couldn’t compromise. In fact, just last weekend I bought a new healthy grilling for personal use. As I was wanted to eat a grilled pork! But too bad ’cause the place where I am now is a Muslim country. So, I need to hide when I use to cook pork. But for sure this approaching New Year I definitely used it ’cause I was asked by my Aunt to bring a grilled pork for the party. So, come and join me in my little cooking strategy!

No matter how far we wanted to go and how long we wanted to stay in this life’s journey if we won’t take all the needs that our body wants still we can’t go further as we can. So, it is therefore clear that we are the sole responsible for our own health. If possible we need to follow the proper meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For instance, on breakfast we need to eat as many as we can ’cause its one of the most important meal in a day. In fact, its prescribe to drink a milk a juice or a coffee from the espresso machines in order for us to waste everyday. Aside from that, we need to eat fruits like mango, pineapple, banana or some other fruits that can supply the vitamins we need for our body.

Anyhow, daily needs is actually part of day to day ramblings. Its a needs that we must have to respond ’cause its for our health goodness. Other than that, its giving our self a chance to live longer as we want. So, I therefore conclude that we must be sensitive to the needs of our body for us to have a healthy life style.

Just recently, as I continue to browse more here in the web I came across to one of the amazing site that merely offers a great deal for blogger like me. I guess, they already exist for a couple of months nor years just only know I got a chance to discover them. I’m fond of web hopping reason why stumble upon to there site. Well, they really got a great deal asking what? Well, I came to know that Creamaid is one of the best creamy soup nor a dessert. You can have it anytime you want specially when you do some great stuff right here in front of the computer. Its quite relaxing to have some drinks like Creamaid nor some other beverage if we are doing some stuff on the net right? So, why not try to taste too? I guess, this really great and it helps you to be relax on your computer sessions.

On the other hand, I know that some stuff like this is common already right here in the net but considering to get a chance to taste this one is definitely awesome. Asking why? Then consider buying Creamaid for you!.

There is nothing like an adventure travel vacation to cheer up children. Traveling on travel trailers in fact add more to the essence of adventure. One can get really cheap flights to amsterdam, which are nothing like the flights to boston, but nevertheless, deliver you to your destination. If not that, flight tracker can be used to fish out the latest schedule of kingfisher airlines which are although a tad more expensive, but much more comfortable. That is the best thing about airlines in usa.
