A contract has been signed with the global design and engineering consultancy firm Atkins to develop the system. “This is a landmark project for the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, ” said Atkins ‘project Director Abdullatif Meril. ” Al Ain Municipality has taken the bold step to lead the way in developing construction site management systems that will safeguard people and the environment.”
Dear All,
This is really a bold step took forward to enhance safety at construction at site.
to achive this milestone the management has to make sure does every company is following safety at work by auditing their inhouse safety system.
E.G.
1. whethere there is safety committe at site
2. is there a safety officer at site.
3. does company have safety tools like safety induction programme. tool box talk, safety training, safety inspections & audits,
4. do they have waste management system.
If these companies are following this basic requirements & top of it if your management make a close inspections on such companies it will sure achive our targets for safety at work place.
