Dubai Adventure!
Posted by wilson on December 7th, 2008Yikes! Just last weekend we been to Dubai again with my relatives here in Abu Dhabi. Actually, it was not in the plan to be there ’cause on the following day we still have a work and traveling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is quite tiring too. But my Aunt fixed it up that we should have to be there. They were actually about to be at Dubai just to buy things they need for their vacation in London. (They were in London right now!) A night before we been to Dubai again I was already stress ’cause I been to bed around 2 am due to a some task that I need to finished. On the day we are about to live my Aunt called me up around 7 am in my flat asking where I am? Too bad ’cause when she used to call me I was still in the bed sleeping! When my phone rang and answered it I told her not be go with them in Dubai as I am still sleepy. But she insisted to be with them. Don’t have a choice but to accept the invitation to go with them. So, I take a bath as fast as I could and take my clothes on and never eat my breakfast anymore as we are about to live by 8 am. Good thing is when I used to arrived in their flat they were still changing their clothes so still have to time to eat my breakfast at their flat..:)
8: 10 am sharp we live already Abu Dhabi bound to Dubai. It takes us 1 and half hour before we arrived on our destination. We first been to Dragon Mart. Dragon Mart is actually an establishments of wholesale tradings. Most of the sellers are Chinese people. The place is big and there were so many people who also been there searching for something to buy. The good thing in this place is you can buy a cheaper things that you want. But all of those might possibly made in China.
Around 2:30 pm we live Dragon Mart bound to The Dubai Mall. One of the newest and biggest mall in Dubai where the biggest aquarium resides. The Dubai Mall is one of the best malls I’ve been here in UAE. First time in my entire life I’ve seen a big aquarium equipped with different types of fishes. The aquarium is really amazing! Never got a chance to see an aquarium like this before even though Philippines has also got like this. The Mall is not yet fully finished ’cause there were several establishments who did not open yet. There were also several establishments who give a promotional products for free as they were just opening. Maybe a month from now all of the establishment might be open already.
I really got a great time in Dubai even just for a 1 day trip! Be back to their again soon! Watch out for more adventures I’ll gonna post it here. Have a great day everyone!
