Christmas here in Abu Dhabi…
Posted by wilson on November 22nd, 200833 days more to go its again Christmas! But I didn’t feel yet the spirit of Christmas here in Abu Dhabi. Well, I guess its pretty obvious already that Arab Countries does not celebrate Christmas. So, its not a question anymore why is it that this place has just got a few Christmas lanterns. Yes! You here it right! You can actually find some place her in Abu Dhabi that has a Christmas decorations. But seldom you find it here! Most of those people are Christians obviously. If not a Filipinos or Indians it could be some other race but never those Arab people!
One thing that I’m thankful that I celebrate Christmas here for the first time is I’d be able to experience their lifestyle and culture and the way how people celebrate this season. For a span of ealry 3 months of staying here, I’m still adjusting the way people live here. Life was so fast! Life is quite different from what I used to have! And you could never feel the spirit of Christmas not unless if you’ll gonna have even just a single Christmas decoration. Anyway, whatever the life I used to have here I could never still forget to spend and celebrate Christmas. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year everyone!
