September 29 is known to be the Feast of St. Michael the Archangle. It is the feast were Iligan City is celebrating every year. Since, it is fast approaching I wanted to extend my heartfelt greetings of saying ” HAPPY FIESTA ILIGAN” to all the Iliganons, foreigners, and the neighboring City who wanted to witness and join the celebration.

On the other hand, it is on this particular feast were there are great happenings such like KASADYA, Miss ILIGAN, and some other highlights that they usually celebrate during this feast. KASADYA is a strret dancing competition participated by the different Baranggay’s of Iligan City were even those neighboring City can also participate depending on a category level. While MISS ILIGAN is the battle of beauty and brains participated by pure Iliganon womens by blood and by culture. It is in this competition were Iliganon womens will have to showcase their talents, skills, and the word of the brain. For some events, it usually happen before the said feast arrives.

Furthermore, Iligan City is simply one of the best picture if you wanted to see a prosperous City not by buildings nor by malls and some other beautiful landmarks but by SCENIC BEAUTIES of waterfalls and by people at large. Have a chance to visit ” MY HOMETOWN ILIGAN CITY”. Enjoy every sceneries that you can only found it in this place.
